well as an experiment with the new tesco pp vouchers i put in a receipt again and bingo a new voucher, i wont use it not brave enough. But as you say no detail from receipt, that should be fun for the trouts.:)

I found a receipt today that I didn't think I had used as nothing written on it.:)

I found the PP email and printed the voucher. It printed out as one of the new ones.:)

When the SA scanned it, he said that it had already been used, so the bar code must contain this information.:(

Nutty nest!

Ah so you were right on the time and you even remembered congratulations :j:j

I forgot again, has to get 2 new tyres for DW car £300 bill, however popped over to W@itrose with vouchers in hand brought 4 of the WW free meal, the free special K vouchers and a few filler items.

The WW meals are only £1.99 and the moc is for £2.99 so it takes an extra £1 off your shop, they are so pleasant in there even when your bill only comes to 96p, when you have 2 carrier bags full of shopping :rotfl::rotfl:.
• i really dont understand this comp at all
:) age i expect.
Hello, This is the crunchy nut cornflakes competition on facebook. There is a nest with pterodactyls guarding boxes of crunchy nut cornflakes and each day Mon-Fri they fly off at some time leaving the nest unattended. They give a clue what time they leave the nest each day, and this was todays - a chopped up photo which you could decipher if you were milly moo and had the whole picture ( my notebook cropped it a bit. )You can then click on and win a box. Goodness it sounds even crazier the more I try to explain. Try on monday on facebook by typing in crunchy nut and clicking the nutty nest.
I am not young enough to know everything.

HI Chandlerscroft I find shopping at Mr W a pleasure as well. They always explain when things are reduced and on offer why more money comes off. They always seem happy you have got a bargain.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Only just, I was rushing, typing up a quote for DH when I looked at the time, quickly closed the window, shouting 'nutty nest!' His face was a picture having no idea what I was on about! :rotfl:

2 new tyres, £300?! :eek::eek: what a nightmare!

As for W@itrose, we're not trusted with them down here either!! :rotfl::rotfl: Is it any wonder all we do is eat, drink and watch the world go by?! There's naff all else to do!

Ninth Anniversary
The weekend starts here - forgetting about work until Monday morning- at least try to.:)

Don't I just love my new friends on elite :D. Home to sample pack of velvet tissues and coupon :D T's mailing with lots of little vouchers - seem to be off dvd's and books but some might be useful to make up spends and for xmas presents. Before I found this thread I probably would have thrown most of them away:eek:

Thank you for helping and for just being there :T
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

So annoyed with myself for being sensible with the wine and just getting a few for Christmas :)

Has anyone actually tried buying it at the new price in the hope of getting an APG ?

Not tried yet.. Might give it a go early next week just one, to give it a go. But the price of it! its disgusting now. Not the wine, the price. Wine is lovely,... just having my first glass of the week-end.

Afternoon all:),

Was doing an A v T £40 shop this morning and was handing over my Special K vouchers, APG, £5 off to the SA when the person behind me in the queue says " excuse me are you artha?". Taken aback a little I said yes, realising it must be a local MSEr
( should have known if I'd looked at what was on the conveyor;)
It was Barbara6812:rotfl: We began chatting and the SA looked a bit confused saying something like "If you're artha then why do the coupons say *** *****? Don't worry about it I said, too difficult to explain:o

Great to meet another local and looking forward to a coffee some time with the rest of the "coven" (as David. would put it:rotfl:)

this made me:rotfl::rotfl: as i always look at other people when shopping now 2 see if i can spot someone i used to look for people counting or hang around the white mice/tangtastics :rotfl: (also i like to giggle at the people who just pick things up with out evenlooking at price/what it is :eek: then they moan at till when it cost so much
