I just put this on Tesco facebook page

"Guess what?Tesco in Northern Ireland take Asda price guarantee vouchers and have done since august 2011- that is a fact. My sister has just called up Tesco customer services with a query about this (because she was refused her £5 off £40 voucher from Asda). Wait for it - she was only told by two cust service advisors on the phone at tesco head office that Tesco Northern Ireland do not take these.
Here is the laugh - they consulted the Business Support Team who confirmed this INACCURATE INFORMATION. Does the right hand not know what the left is doing at tesco head office? Would love to hear your views on this. I myself have used many of these from asda including two last night!!!!"

    :(

Just had horrible call from council. I e-mailed them after waiting in a telephone queue for 15 mins about my mister's lack of wages this month. They were very unhelpful and said the best that they could do is stretch the payment for a month but as we're already behind it wouldn't make a difference!! If he had been paid then we wouldn't be behind and I wouldn't be asking for extra time :wall: :wall:

    Sorry, rant over

Do you have a local advice centre where someone would contact them on your behalf and get some time for you to sort things out ?:)

Hahaha. Don't mind me, i'm bored out of my mind here. I'm in an office that holds about 100 people.. and there is only myself and two other people here. Its so boring. I've got no work. That's two days, i've been paid just to scour the net an sit and answer a phone that has only rung once (calling for someone who has left the company)... and the only visitors i've had in the last two days is the postman and an ADT man about the front gate entrance system.

Your post made me laugh :rotfl:

I normally work for agencies and they always put me in jobs where there is nothing to do, I sometimes wonder why some companies ask agencies for temps.

Thankfully I'm at home with my young DD's.

Hope your days pick up soon or better still you win lots of comps. ;)

yes you just might have done!!! But I am not feeling quite so bad today - just had a lovely long skype chat with my girl - should have been doing housework but it was lovely and she is having a great time. Isn't Skype just a brilliant invention!!! Beats international phone bills!

    Thats lovely:T:T:T

Afternoon everyone - it's been lovely sunshine here all day but absolutely FREEZING!!!!! Neighbour said snow on the way, kids are delighted. They don't care about cold do they? My 4 year old was out front playing with her sister on their bikes (yes in the arctic conditions but well wrapped up) and she came in wanting an ice lolly
