Just got off the phone from A's customer service. Bad news I'm afraid. They confirmed what I'd been told in store today. Said all stores would be told not to take internet coupons until further notice.
They said it was because they have been unable to claim all the money back from the manufacturers due to some people committing fraud.
Told her same as I told shop assistant, that I would be using my conditional spend in T's.She said she would log my complaint.
Spend your coupons as soon as you can before this takes effect in your store.

Sounds like you spoke to a right muppet, email Mr Clarke ASAP with a complaint, you have nothing to loose....

The companies and supermarkets need stop blaming the customer for there lack knowledge and attention to detail when putting out coupons. They need to do there homework, the coupon sorter will make companies pay as they did not elaborate on restrictions or take precautions to limit print restrictions.

Special K must take 24 hours to reset print limit I won this morning print limit reached, twenty past three today I was able to print clusters out.

Last night got 8 k berries 6 biscuits 8 marg on bogof one milk came to over £40, used 5/40, 2.5/10 on dairy and 75 points on 6 x 1l uht. Paid £3 after couple of small pp.

Look out at t for Epsom cartridges reduced to clear is 300 points on 2 but selling at about pound odd each........

Have you noticed lately that most of the wine boxes seem to be reducing in size recently:eek:They all used to be 3l but I was looking at them a few weeks back and a lot are now only 2.25l and don't cost much less! So double check if you're buying boxes.
    Good point, fairclaire.

Has anyione else nocticed as well - When you buy own brand products the neck on the bottle is always wider so you use more by accident so the price per XXXg becomes meaningless. They can see us customers coming a mile off!

Has anyone else had trouble with coupons in A's this morning.
I had an over £40 shop and only coupons I had were 1 reloaded, 1 weight watchers + a £5 off £40 spend voucher. SA appologised, but said she had to have the coupons checked as there had been lots of fraud with coupons. I said ok and waited while she asked supervisor. When she cameback she said they'd had a directive from Asda house to only take coupons which were printed on both sides. When I said that all internet coupons were only printed on one side she appologised but said she still wasn't allowed to take them.
She was really nice about it so I felt a bit guilty telling her that I was sorry, but someone would have to put all my shopping back as I didn't want any of it on principle, and also how fortunate it was that T's were now taking A's and M's conditional spend vouchers as I'd just seen the sign outside.
I also added that they know the difference between genuine and fake coupons and always accept them as long as you buy the product. Has anyone got the number for Asda house. thank you.
Has anyone else got the sign about conditional spends outside their locals

I have just got back and I was told exactly the same.
