Wondered if anyone could help please:) I noticed that the Clubcard Exchange can be used for opticians. As I've just had an eye test(at Boots) and now need some rather expensive varifocals. I know I can just take my prescription to my Tesco optician but was wondering whether clubcard optician spend has any restrictions?

Guess I'll find out next week but has anyone got any experience of this? TIA:)

    Hello artha :)

Have you tried Asda opticians? They are ridiculously cheap and have a set price regardless of prescription - £99 for designer Varifocals or £79 for standard varifocals.

    http://www.asda-contactlenses.co.uk/opticians/complete-pricing/

I have a complex prescription (-10, -11) and normally my lenses alone set me back at least £300, I've been able to get mine for under £100 with Asda for a few years now - it's an excellent deal IMHO. For me it's worth the extended trip as I save so much.

    Artha,
My experience with Tesco could have been very expensive even with the Double up. I eventually had the free eye test and got a quote from T then went to Asba with my prescription...... resulting in a saving of £280.
They are from £79 for single vision lens and £99 varifocal Take your prescripion into them and get a quote it costs you nothing and could save you £££££££s
  • Just got a good response from Toscos HO CS. I've to go back to the store to get the rest of my DTD put onto my CC. Have about 2weeks to do this.
Also put in a complaint about Bl00mf1eld store and refusal of DTD being the main reason for not shopping there.

I got the liqueur chocs with the biscuits, they should compare against S, but come up as N/A and compare at T instead(at £8). Why do they not compare at S???
Also, why do the dairy box compare at £8 at T when on MSM they are £7.50 each?

I was trying to check this morning but couldn't find any details, I hope so I got 3 xbox games on pre-order :D

I wonder if they are classed as toys? If so then they are included. I have sent an email to Tosco to ask but probably will never get a response.

So buying the vinnie trellis tin biscuits plus any other two in the '3 for £10' offer should work?.. even if they don't show at other stores on MSM?

Who is it supposed to compare against?

I believe the trick is to get a Vinnies tin plus 2 chocs in the 3 for £10 offer at Asda. You need to get 2 chocs that you have checked are cheaper at Waities, Tesco, Sainsbury or Morries than the full Asda price (before the 3 for £10 kicks in). The comparison system will totally ignore the biscuits and will think you have paid full price for 2 chocs (£6 ...ish each). The difference plus 10% will come back on an APG.

How much luck have people been having with WW select, have they been able to put more than one through at once, not had chance to get to Sada yet to try these.

2 diff sainsbobs have scanned 4 at a time for me, though for some reason voucher scans at £2.99 so they end up costing 1p each.

Have just tried some of the spam fritters - far too greasy & salty for me so won't bother with those again.

Hi any ideas why the link to the WW Select voucher is not working.
