Hi everyone
I thought I was being very MSE this week by checking car insurance comparison sites and some that don't show on them but none were coming in under £200. Our renewable quote was for £160 or £186 if paying by DD so we thought paying in full would be better. Only to get over half a dozen quotes come through by email today at £20 cheaper
We never had our NCB protected either so I checked that out and got a price of £148 with NCB protected from our insurer's parent company. Normally, I'd have just figured I'd paid now and nothing else I can do but I phoned them up, told them I'd cancel and go elsewhere and now we have a £12 refund and protected NCB :j
So thank you from me because if it wasn't for reading this thread, I really wouldn't have bothered chasing up the money but you've gave me a bit of courage I never knew I hadMany a mickle makes a muckle.0 -

About to go out to watch the fireworks at the odyssey in Belfast.
I remember DSes first Halloween, DH worked in Yorkgate and we went onto the roof as it had a fantastic view over Belfast so we saw loads of fireworks going off all around us, DS at 9/10 months was amazed at the 360 view. Memories like this are priceless and wish DH was here with us againSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

Hey nutters
Back from a fab weekend away, tbh it kinda made a nice change that I didn't have to worry about planning shopping lists or coupons, but only cos the person I was with doesn't know about my antics. I will tell him when I'm completely sure that he won't try getting me sectioned :rotfl:
I've had to skip from page 69 so apologies if I have missed anything important

Lol!
I'm not even in NI but I'm outraged on your behalf at the way in which this simple enquiry has been handled:rotfl:
