Money Dashboard - mmmm - short story - can be excellent aggregator if it wasnt for the constant 413 error codes showing it unable to contact various credit cards or banks making it virtually unusuable0

Same as my experience. HSBC never works because of the key card, Tesco never works because it recognises it as an unknown computer trying to access my account and wants to text me a code. The rest regularly just stop working for no apparent reason (particularly Lloyds) and I have to re-enter the login details.
Plus when I log in, invariably only half the accounts have updated within the last couple of days and so I have to sit there refreshing each one individually - and waiting until it's gone through the whole sign-in process before I can move on to refresh the next account.
It has the potential to be amazing but it's just frustrating at the moment!0 -
Works fine for me, First Direct works even though it uses the same keycard system as HSBC (same company really), so does Barclaycard and Halifax credit cards. They have added a couple of new views recently showing upcoming repeating transactions and spending by category. It is always up to date within a day.
It is lacking in a couple of areas, such as you can't set an end date for repeating transactions, some repeat intervals are missing (biannual for one). Being a computing geek I would like to download all the data to SQL Server Express or Excel and generate my own reports with SQL Server Reporting services (free) they could encourage such an approach but don't seem to. There doesn't seem to be an open forum to discuss shortcomings/alternatives/addons either, but downloading the information automatically on a daily basis and providing free reports is good enough for me to continue using it.0 -
I am using an Excel spreadsheet as I have not been able to find any software or service that can include a mortgage.
In my spreadsheet the money I have left at the end of the month goes to my saving account and in 1 year that goes to my mortgage.
Anybody who knows if something like that exists?
I'm using YNAB (You need a budget) and it does manage this as well as transfers between accounts. Software is purely designed for budgeting and as such, is not connected with banks so all transaction needs to be done manually (or imported). Other than that it's pretty awesome!0 -
I use it only for cashbacksYou will only fail to learn if you do not learn from failing.

Can also recommend YNAB if budgeting is what you're looking for. I use it in conjunction with 'moni' (app) so I can track cash when I'm out and about, then update manually later.
As long as you're fairly disciplined it's not too much hassle.0 -
I've been using it for about 10 days now. I like the graphs and transaction details.
I'll use it for a few weeks to see if it's actually making any impact on my spending habits. But I don't think I'll stick with it as I don't see any benefit for me personally. All that glitters is not gold.0 -
They are offering £9.97 cashback at the moment too via topcashback.co.uk. Have just signed up, looks like it might be quite a useful tool...0
