Haven't used it myself but it does appear to have impressive functionality.
The only thing that would worry me is how they make their money - presumably you get bombarded with ads, and get tempted to sign up to accounts which they get referral money for. But if the ads/referrals are not intrusive, it might be ok.0 -
for me it's useless, it doesn't work with most of my banks, so far I can't get working Santander, United National and Conventory BS. If I can't see everthing in one place I see no point in using it. If you have everything in one place and the bank actually works, then I see it could be of some use. It also doesn't do any of my investments either, so it will never give me a full picture of my finance.0

I can't comment directly on moneydashboard.
However, I believe they use Yodlee. Whilst they say you can access all acounts on their landing page, the FAQ tells you the true story, which is that whilst the vast majority of your online accounts can be added, there may still be accounts that you have internet banking access for but which they won't currently have available to add via moneydashboard.
They can add them, but that would be via request to Yodlee who are primarily US-focused. In reality, if you are unlucky enough to have accounts with one of the providers not currently on their list, it might be months before it got added (if ever).
Obviously if you only have accounts with the major banks or don't need 100% coverage of your accounts this isn't really an issue.0 -
Tried Money Dashboard for the first time recently, after seeing a review on BBC click, and was able to add all of my accounts (with 3 different providers) and it works great.
I have also not seen a single advertisement or attempted referral since signing up. Would recommend.0 -

Thanks for your comment, Grommit.
Are you willing to share what application you're using? I actually need to track both US and UK accounts and , like you, would rather import manually than automatically.0 -

I use Moneydance and have done for years following the demise of MS Money. Well worth a try. Works with multiple currencies, accounts; etc0 -

Thanks for this information.
We (wife and self) have a total of 15 accounts including, multiple bank accounts (current and budget account), several ISAs, building society accounts, premium bond accounts and credit card accounts. Several questions if I may:
1. Can Moneydance handle this many and does it show an overview of everything?
2. We have direct debits set up from our current bank account to pay credit card accounts and the amount debited is the full amount. We reconcile the credit cards after getting the statements by post. Can this be done?
3. I have been using Quicken 2000 for 14 years and can do almost anything. Do you or does anyone know if this Moneydance program is at least as good if not better than this old Quicken program?
Note. The old Quicken program was hell of a devil to install in Windows 7 x 64. I had to work around and then put a copy on my QNAP server to use in event of a disaster. Ex IT by the way.0 -

It's good as a spending diary but I find an overall numbers a bit baffling, maybe I've set it up incorrectly but it doesn't seem to track you moving money between accounts very well.
They seem to be adding some new useful features as well, e.g. weekly balance emails and a future calenderYes Your Dukeiness0
