( whay was a happy bunny this morning is now slightly less happy....
did you get the confirmation email when you first ordered...concerned now if some of my order gets cancelled..not very good service if they confirm order then cancel..:j :j :j :T :T0 -
I am avoiding Tesco Direct like the plague. When they launched the present website circa May/June2012 they had a stock control system that was separate to their ordering system. Speaking from my own experience and what I have read across forums, they frequently cancel orders and they frequently fail to refund you unless you ask for your money back, and then it can take a great deal of correspondence and time to resolve, and you can only begin to imagine the stress.
I'd be happy to consider ordering from them in the future when I stop hearing these stories of orders being cancelled at the expense of the customer.0 -

Yup, got order confirmation.... I have just phoned them and cancelled the 4 left on the order as I'm going to re-order with other items so that I can spend over the £75 for the £10 voucher to kick in. Suppose nothing is guaranteed until you get despatch email....0 -

hope you have better luck this time...:j :j :j :T :T0 -
My order has been cancelled by email :-( and hours after i placed it too.
Had to ring up and cancel the rest of the toys on the order. Told the refund will take about 5 days! not impressed because until that happens i'm without cash to purchase from somewhere else.
Why don't they do what Amazon do and only take the money upon dispatch? Sooooooo fed up with Tesco. This is my 4th order to be cancelled in under 6 months.0 -
Hadn't actually ordered yet...partly because of tesco direct's tendency to get their stock control completely wrong. Am now wondering whether to bother at all.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

i know this probably isnt the place to ask, but i have the starterpack and 3 skylanders in my basket.
can anyone please advise me if this is anygood for a 6 yr old? he loves his xbox and has been asking for these since the original ones came out, but its alot of money if he wont get on with it.
thanks
Definitely! My son just turned 7 and has been into Skylanders since last year. It's really easy to play unlike some other kids games and he loves the fact when he dies he can just switch character. Hope this helps!0 -
Skylanders is amazing, my son loves it. I don't think they are classed as toys though? I didn't try it, but they were among the computer games rather than toys, and no signs there about 3 for 2.
Heads up though, if you see the Granite Crusher (special edition) giant figure, these are selling for up to £45 on Ebay. I just saw some at Tesco Bar Hill, they were upstairs, they had none downstairs. I bought one the other day from Ely Tesco, not sure if they still have them Son was ecstatic!0 -
I am worried now as i ordered lego which was sold out in sainsburys. Tesco cancelled items from my order last time too which messed up 3 for 2's. If they do it again i won't bother in future. Went into store and picked up 3 things so still got something and glad of a reduction, Lego is expensive!0
