I've had the same issues, and not just with the servicing but with emergency call outs. I was with British Gas before and it just worked perfectly as they were one company, but ScottishPower run a triage in the all centre and then farm work out. Sadly they're the weal point in the chain. The service doesn't work at all for the end user. Bad product all in all. Regret signing up and about to spend the next few days working through some hefty complaints (been without heating for a month and at breaking point).0 -
gingois if you e-mail onlinecomplaints@scottishpower.com with details I can look into this for you. Thanks David @ ScottishPower“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Scottish Power. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
Thank you David. That has been sent and marked for your attention. I hope you will reply in good time. What is the normal turn around time for these things?0

I can't believe how far back these posts go and yet the same problems persist.
I have the Home Comfort Premium cover and, having waited nearly 3 weeks with stories of 5 working day delays for parts that we knew were on the shelf, the contractors made such a mess of the job that I had to bring my own people in. SP have said that they will pay for this (they haven't yet so I am out of pocket) but they refuse to pay for my time - and I have had to wait in for 6 separate days - 4 call outs plus 2 no-shows. I have only asked them to cover one day! Appalling customer service. Had to go to CEO to get any response at all but even now I am told that Directors will not speak to me directly. Well, why would they want to??
Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. Will be taking legal action via small claims and going to Watchdog if not resolved. My main concern is for those who couldn't just pay for their own person or even have the ability to fight the battle. And what if this had happened to a vulnerable person in the middle of winter?0
