  • Hi all.. went to boots today to get a refund on that straigten your hair product. After reading several different reviews i decided not to risk it on my waist length hair. Anyway went in with out the receipt and the sa said not a problem and asked if i would like refund on giftcard. Having bought this product when it was nationally reduced to 9.99 and using a 5.00 off voucher so only paid 4.99 for it was pleasantly surprised (understatement)when she handed me refund of 15.00:T :T :T :T

Some may say another glitch, some however may say i defrauded boots but i say i was flipping lucky.

It all depends on the SA

I used a £10 voucher at the pharmacy on a £5.?? spend, and got cash as change. But the other day I used a £10 voucher for a £6.?? sale and SA said no change except on a giftcard

please make sure you send your items recorded as a lot of buyers fleece you sying they never get their product and you have no proof of delivery. So they get a refund and the product and re sell it on. Especailly with such a high value item as the protect serum. I know recorded is not 100% but i previousily had lots of people caliming non delivery and since I have sent recorded not one has said they never recieved their item .It also prevents them doing a paypal charge back .

I dont always send recorded but i do ALWAYS get a proof of posting certificate this covers items up to about 27.00 I think, if the item goes missing then the buyer is entitled to a refund from royal mail. I will not reimburse for an item that has gone missing if I have a proof of postage.

I am off to do a Carboot tomorrow with all my Boots stuff, I have no choice according to hubby as we are finding it difficult moving around the house due to having too much Booits stuff :rotfl:

Just wanted to ask, I remember someone doing a Carboot a few pages back and selling quite a bit of the suncare, can anyone remember what they asked for it as I haven't a clue what to sell it at?

The sets that were £12 or something I was thinking £3?
    does that sound too expensive?
