    Hi

I guess it might be this one. I have used it myself and my one criticism is that the top comes off easily, as it did in my handbag, and made a lovely mess!!

  • Hi
Hope someone can clear up a quick query... I got the £2 off voucher (the ones you get if you spend over a tenner) and tried to use it against a Boots Meditterenan Hand and Nail Lotion... the product was about £2, can;t remember exactly, but when I went to the counter to pay with the voucher, I was told that it was catogoried a 'miniature' version so voucher couldn't be used.

Is this right? I can understand it when it's something like a shampoo, where there are bigger bottles, not travel size, but the product I wanted didn't come in a bigger bottle - so how on earth can it be the miniature 'version'?!

Are Boots right on this one? Or should I go back and try again?

I got one too yesterday (75ml).
I handed over 2x shampoos (half price) 2x hayfever tablets (bogof) and 2x Ibuprofen(30p off) along with the hand cream and waited until it was all rung through before handing over advantage card and voucher.
There are some mediterranean items classed as Minis but it states that on the shelf.

Just say to SA that it went through in another branch could she check it it will go through!

    Good luck

PS Kirkcaldy branch had 2 Rewind + Refine serums on the shelf!!!
    I resisted!

I got 3 ok at the Estee Lauder counter as I was getting foundation but when I went to get another handcream another day in the same Boots I was told the same as you. I popped into a different Boots the following day and got it ok. Think it depends on the SA. I was purchasing hayfever tablets (reduced) which happened to still be on BOGOF and the SA made a point of asking another other SA how she could put it though so it wouldn't be BOGOF! Some people just can't be pleased at others getting a bargain!

  • Thanks guys for the info. And for letting me know that the 'minis' are labelled as such on the shelves... I'll check out the full ranges that way next time! Will head back with the voucher to try again.

ps this is a great thread full of ideas for using the boots vouchers, so thanks to all contributors. I'll post again if I think of any new MSE advantegeuous voucher-use for Boots!
