Hopefully you don't mind me mentioning this here! ;)

I've just got back from Boots after buying brush heads for my Braun toothbrush. Boots normal price for a pack of 8 brush heads (just the normal round ones) is £24.99 so currently 50% off which is fabulous and effectively means I don't need to buy new ones for 2 years :j

if anyone is interested the edinburgh princes street branch is opening at 5am!!!on friday to herald the return of protect and perfect into store.
it might be worth trying evening shopping on the thursday night to get some as it will surely need to be instore on the thursday night to let them start selling it at 5am.

Assume the other stores will be getting stock Friday as well. Just sold the last of my P&P in the nick of time then!

I had a lovely time trying on sunglasses in Boots today and ended up getting a pair of 'Dial' ones and paid only £7.50 after using the half price till spit.

I noticed that they now sell a range of No. 17 sunglasses. I was tempted to try and see if the free gift (fairy bag) would go through with these (I know it says free with £5 on cosmetics, but you never know), but didn't fancy any of the sunglasses myself. Just thought I would mention it here in case anyone else wants to try it.

By the way, Clairol Nice 'n' Easy hair colour level 2 and 3 (usually £4.79) is on buy 2 for £7.50. This includes the root touch up kits as well.

I got 2 lots of Parenting vouchers today - one for me, one for daughter.

Can someone confirm that the £5 Ruby/No7 is the £16 one in disguise please :) I can't afford a 'surprise' large bill at the moment and hubby would go mad at me.

To be less than 28 weeks your due date would be: week of 3rd Sept (and you are 20 weeks gone now) :)

Hi yes it is the right voucher, I just got the full price off n0 7 microdermibrasion, 5 pound of the glycolic peel kit and some moisturiser free with the 3for2. So glad it still works

  • Went to use the last of my camera vouchers today & some others which all ran out today, I had 3 camera vouchers on me including my DH's & my sisters, also my friend had one of his own. I got a lovely SA who put me through

    17 Make Up Wipes £2.99
    17 Concealer stick £2.29
    FREE Fairy bag

Used £1 off voucher so cost me £4.28 & there is another £1 off inside the bag!

In the same transaction I bought 2 cameras, stickered as BOGOF but the signs have come down now, the offer didn't come off but she overrode one so the offer went on. She let me use the camera voucher against this, I also bought a couple of clearance items & some vaseline to make it just over £10 to pay & got a sunglasses/skincare voucher.

My friend tried to use a camera voucher but was told he could only have one camera as the offer of BOGOF not on anymore, surely if they are stickered the offer should be on?

I then went round again to use 2 more vouchers - about 2 hours later - one for me & one my friend. I also had 2 of the BOGOF Mediterrean Pregnancy Range & although my LO is now 8 months I still like using the body scrub, about £3.99 IIRC. I went upstairs to use a different till, a young SA was on who started putting the items through but then another SA came over, she asked if she could look at my vouchers (I had one camera & one pregnancy range one) same as my friend did, then she took them away & came back a few minutes later saying I couldn't use them. She said I had been using too many in the last few months, !!!!!! I haven't used that many (Probably 8 vouchers in total inc the old No7 vouchers)

She then took the vouchers from my friend too, even though he hadn't used any other than the 1 camera voucher earlier.

What should I do? Should I phone CS?

"saying I couldn't use them. She said I had been using too many in the last few months"

    SHE SAID WHAT?

I'd write to the store manager, cc CS. Outrageous!
