Hold 2 x S&S ISA's, can i add money to both in a single tax year?

As above, i hold 2 x S&S ISA's both of which I havent added to this tax year, can i add to both this year? If so, is it only a total of £10,200 between the 2? Or can I add £10,200 (or whatever the limit is now) to both, theoretically investing £21k in shares between now and april 2013?

Thanks in advance

You can only add £11,280 (the limit) into one of the S&S ISA this tax year. You cannot split it (I am assuming they are different ISAs with different providers etc.).
  • As lokolo says, you can only add to one ISA this year. But if you do want to balance between two, you could do a partial transfer of old money from one to the other. (Strictly speaking you can't split the current year's subscription, but once the money has been added, I'm not sure how they can then distinguish what is new money and what is old money.)

    One way to do it:

Into S&S ISA 1 you pay in what you want.

You then open a CASH ISA with the rest and (after a few days once that ISA is up and running) then transfer that cash ISA into S&S ISA 2.
