ID pics on RAZR V3i

For a variety of reasons, I've been moving my Sim card back and forth between my Sony Ericsson K750i and my Motorola RAZR V3i. and aim now to use the latter.

One feature of the S/E, was that any ID photo appeared on screen both when the individual called me, and when I accessed them via the address book. I found this MOST satisfactory as I was able to recognise the individual rather than put my glasses on to read the name.

I have now via bluetooth transferred half a dozen photo's from the S/E to the RAZR and have them in situ. The faces appear when I wish to call the individual, but for whatever reason, they don't appear when the individual calls ME.

I did wonder if that was because I'd used photo's which had been transferred and maybe not the correct size and thought that if I took a pic with the razr and sent it to address book, somehow this phone would allow the pic to show when I was being called.

Maybe some knowledgable techie might have a solution?.

Whilst on, has anyone experienced poor battery life with the Motorola RAZR V3i?. I seem to find it neccessary to charge ever other day, whilst the S/E under similar circumstances lasts a week. The RAZR is 9 months old, and I've had the battery exchanged. That is why I've been back & forth with the phones. It just so happens the RAZR has excellent speaker phone which we need every night.

You get more options if you store numbers to phone. I know who's calling from the tune. My V3i lasts 3/5 days depending on what I've been doing. My phone is also about 9 months old.
