Hi
I assume you mean a USB flash memory? One of the best and cheapest ones is the Corsair Flash Voyager comes in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB sizes. I have the 8GB and believe it or not it has been in my washing machine once and still works....that's how durable it is (it comes with a 10 year warranty). Its also has one of the fastest read/write speeds of any USB drive:
2GB - £17.86

4GB - £28.14

8GB - £60.97

Hope this helps!0 -
Thanks for this. I'm not very good with the correct terminology. Did you buy online from the links you gave? Good enough company?0

Does anyone know if all such sticks are compatible with vista readyboost?0

Not all are, it depends on the transfer speed. There's a list here
http://www.grantgibson.co.uk/misc/readyboost/
although it is not exhaustive it should give you some ideas. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Does anyone know if all such sticks are compatible with vista readyboost?
Yes, most (if not all) USB 2.0 flash drives are vista memory boost compatible.
Sloughflint, Scan are an excellent online retailer (i bought mine from them) and you can buy directly from the links i gave. And if you do buy the corsair one and you need any help go to the official forum: http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=171
i lost my cap, sent them a pm thru forum it was sent within a week from California!!!0 -
Had a quick look at 7dayshop.com and homed in on this

It quotes speed of "Very Fast read/write transfer at up to a blistering 110x (15 MB/s!) with USB 2.0 ". Is this good ?
Couldn't see the speed for the corsair, baby fromella. If faster, might be worth spending £28.14 rather than £16.99.0 -
Yes, I wholeheartedly recommend the Sandisk Cruzer Titanium range.
They're compact and extremely well built and more over write speeds are very fast - they're even Readyboost compatible (MS Vista feature). I've had mine for a year or two and take it everywhere with me, its been sat on, dropped and it still works.
OK, its not the dirt-cheapest but you're paying for quality and the software buddled is pretty good too.Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Hi
My 8GB corsair has read/write speeds of up to 28/22 mbps, so obviously its faster than the 7day shop one. However the main advantage of the corsair is its build quality....its been designed to last for a long time (hence the 10 year warranty).
Have a look at this review:
