  • I've just tried to order one and my order wasn't completed as it said that there was a problem with my order and I should try again. I've just received an email as well saying there was a problem. Anyone else having problems with this? I'm not sure whether to try again.

  • I managed to order mine last night around 9.30pm. Code worked ok so cost £22.50. I've gone onto my Body Shop account to see if it's still showing and says awaiting dispatch. Hoping i receive it ok as the last time i tried to order a discounted bundle bag off the Body Shop the site crashed and they cancelled my order!:(
  • I too tried to order this earlier today, it told me that there was an error, implying that my card didn't work. I didn't try again, patted myself on the back - I don't need more toiletries, my family are sick of the Body Shop stuff every xmas too!! Later today I received an email saying there were still items in my basket!

When I ordered some reduced gift boxes last year the 40% off code didn't work if I had too many of them in the basket. Maybe The Body Shop caught onto Martin's email. They don't want them going for £22.50, they may not make any money from them if that's the case, especially if you used Quidco as well!
  • I ordered one ok at the discount price and got a confirmation, thought it was all fine. But since reading this I've checked on the Bodyshop site and my order has been cancelled! They didn't even have the decency to email me to let me know.

They set up these codes, so why do they then try to get out of people using them? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Like I mentioned, maybe the code shouldn't have been valid in conjuction with other offers like that set. When I bought one of those £25 sets last year, it was half price, and it restricted me to one of each when I used my 40% off code. Maybe they forgot to add a restriction on the website.

They do have every right to cancel it if they haven't despatched it yet.
  • I couldn't get on with it either. I tried to use the code on Wednesday morning and the site was extremely slow, and by the time it finally seemed to go through it showed as out of stock, so I gave up. I had had to register my details in the meantime, and this morning I had an email from them saying I still had the item in my basket (but it showed at the £37ish price). When I logged in it didn't show any items, so perhaps it had been removed in the meantime. I didn't want it at full price anyway but thought it worth trying the code again, so I cleared all the cookies and tried searching for the item (as 'pamper' or 'pamper package') and the search didn't bring anything up at all.

I wanted to separate the items in the package to give as Christmas gifts to about three different people. I'm pretty disappointed, and now a bit cheesed off with the Body Shop generally.:(

I ordered mine on Wednesday morning, all worked fine, I got a confirmation email for my order at £22.50 and was looking forward to delivery.

Fast forward to today and I've received an email from them saying

    Dear customer,
We write following the despatch of your recent order placed with us. We would like to apologise that Pamper Package will not be delivered. Unfortunately at the time your order was picked, the Pamper Pack become unavailable. We can confirm that you have not been charged for this item.

We have managed to secure additional stock of the Pamper Pack only for orders that have been affected due to the out of stock issue. If you would like to still purchase the Pamper Pack please contact ourCare Centre on Monday

I wonder if I call on Monday whether it will be at the £22.50 price...
  • I also ordered and it seemed fine, until I got this email:
"Thank you for contacting The Body Shop® Online Team.
We write following the despatch of your recent order placed with us.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."

So I phoned up yesterday and was told to ring on tuesday to reorder it for the same price. I have just checked my account though, and it looks like they have taken the 22.50? So when I reorder on tuesday I dont know if they will try and take the money again? Seems weird to me.

I got the same email. It makes no sense does it. Why didn't they just send an email apologising for a delay in delivery rather than cancel all these orders and ten make us all (probably) spend hours in a phone queue on Tuesday just to place the order again. I half expect to be told that the offer price is no longer available.
