T Mobile change my plan before my due date
I was on 18 month contract with 600 min per month ending Oct 14.
I called up T-Mobile on 9th Oct and asked for cheapest plan and they offered me 300 min per month. I specifically asked them to switch me to the new plan on the last i.e. Oct 14, Since I had 300 min left on my old plan I kept using my min and was gobsmacked to me a bill of £42 when I logged in online. They said they switched me to new plan on 9 Oct itself there was 6 days for the new month to start Oct 14 and I was eligible for 60 min (pro rate as per 300 min per month) for those 6 days.
I argued with following points
1)I had specifically askes them to switch me on the last day of my previous contract i.e. Oct 14 and not Oct 9 itself. THis would have enabled me to use my left over 300 min.
2)Also in my new plan they forgot to add landline boster i.e. free calls to landline. So even if they do not agree to me with my first point I would still escape the bills as most of my calls in those 6 days were to landline. Eventually T-mobile did added landline boster but they are not ready to consider that retrospectively and are adamant that they are right to charge.
I don't know if I should report it to Ofcom or not.
