I would if it wasn't made out to me. The RSPCA would be my first choice being as the government give it no help at all.

you can always pay the cheque into your account and donate the same amount to a charity of your choice.
I didn't mean this to turn into a discussion about which charities are deserving or not.
But a lot of charities, not just the RSPCA, don't get any help at all from the Government - including RNLI.
