Paying car insurance by cheque

Can you get a pre pay credit card? Sort of thing you take on holiday and use that?

The cheque would then pay you back?

Not sure that would be any quicker, and all done by the 28th. I think I will contact Diamond tomorrow and then request the cheque back, request another cheque from the charity, wait for it to clear and then pay by bank transfer. I guess that will take 2+ weeks.

You might be able to get one at the post office tomorrow. Not sure but could help.

I'd still need to recall the cheque, get another cheque from the charity, wait for it to clear to do anything whether that be loading a pre-paid credit card or making a bank transfer to Diamond though so it would be no quicker.

Get the cheque paid to your daughter and she just calls and pays with her card. Simples.

I'm phobic of phones so have been in such a state over this as I've been unable to contact them apart from my email which I thought they wouldn't reply to as I'm not the policy holder but I've just had an email from Diamond! They have confirmed they have received and accepted the cheque. Yay they do do cheques! :T:j
