hi all
Not a happy bunny at the moment
Had metal railings made for our juliette balcony. Can somebody please tell me what the code of practice is for the heigh restrictions for the local council to pass.
reason why am asking is that the company put them up yesterday and it looks like a prison, literally. felt like crying. husband had just about had enough of me winging last night and stating they are correct, but something tells me they are just far too big. don,t get me wrong, thinking of the kids and that but still I want to know before I start to let off steam to the company
thanks guys.

So what height is it actually - like in measured with a measuring stick not just guesssed to your shoulder height and what did it say on the order paperwork?

1100mm is the dimension you need.
The height of guarding is MINIMUM 1100mm
The height for a means of escape window is MAXIMUM 1100mm
You may or may not legally need the means of escape height but I would prefer to have the option to be able to climb out if there was a blazing fire licking at the door0 -
