Egg blue works for SBTs just like Egg green. It therefore becomes the SBT card of choice during 'anniversary offer' balance transfers to Egg green - while that card remains 'tied up'

There are no additional benefits on Egg blue [eg balance transfers or discretionary cashbacks]...
Hi Milarky - I've just returned my signed acceptance form for Egg green. I've seen snippets of information on this board regarding the Egg blue and its uses to the stoozer, but can't seem to get my head round its usefulness.

Please could you (or anyone else?) expand a little on the above quote as I've just been given a £12.5K limit on the green card and want to continue to maximise my benefits beyond the initial 6 months offer period!

    Many thanks

If you carry out a BT to Egg green during the anniversary month you get charged 0% for 5 months. If the month after your anniversary month you send money to an Egg green card it will pay off the 0% loan. If you then make another BT to your Egg green card it will not attract the 0% interest rate but the standard rate of 14(???)%.
If you instead use an Egg blue card as a mule the 0% Egg green anniversary debt does not get paid off and remains valid until the end of the 5 months :)
