hi there am i correct in thinking that if the original flight cost 81 euros in total and the price of the flight i wish to transfer to is 150 euros, this will cost me the difference in price (69 euros) plus 30 euros 9as it is counted as low season by ryanair) i was originally just thinking everyone says it's usually cheaper to just buy a new ticket but actually as i paid more than usual it might be better to change the date. Are there any other hidden costs ie 6 euros handling fee for the extra card payment?

Remember the fee is €30 per change, each way so if it's a return flight, you'll pay €60 and if you are looking to change both route and dates it's even more. Other than that, your calculation looks right. I don't believe there's a card charge but you can always do a dummy change to find out.0

thanks yes it's just one way. i was going to do a dummy run on the change but bottled out when it asked for confirmation that I did want to change as I wondered if i would be able to go back. On the first step there is a "never mind" option but then if i clicked through I didn't know if i could then return. thanks for advice. It's just lucky actually that i booked the original ticket separately and it is for the person who might want to change - this is because there was only 3 flights at a particular price so i booked them and then booked his at the higher price0

just done it and you do have to pay the 6 euros admin fee - a bit rich when you're already paying a 30 euros admin fee but never mind0
