Good eBay experiences thread

I've been buying from e-bay for 2 years now and only once had a bad experience where it took a seller 2 months to post me an item after repeated e-mails.
I've 5 items in the last week and received all but one of them already, all in brilliant condition. One item only cost me a penny and I e-mailed the seller saying how sorry I was that it hadn't raised more for her. She sent me a lovely e-mail back saying that she was just thankful that the item was going to be worn.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I've sold quite a few items to people in the USA and because of this I now have two American 'email pals' which is just fab!:beer:0

i recently won tony hawks for ps2 and in total with p&p it came to £4, the seller sent it special delivery and i noticed it cost them £4.05 so essentially it cost the seller more to list and post than the actual value of selling the item. (I've no idea why they sent it special delivery when 1st class recorded would have been sufficient).ummm...0

I am wearing a full ebay outfit today - top, jeans and boots, and the whole thing coat less than £12 (including p+p!!). I also bought a bag which was in brand new condition for less than a fiver and have got loads and loads of compliments on it. I think clothing is a pretty good area to be honest, I have sold a couple of things and was mostly just happy to get rid of it and that someone else could enjoy things I didn't want or need. Nothing sells for much if you're not selling designer labels so there's not much crazy profiteering going on - most people seem pleased with a few quid.0

I have had a couple of bad experiences on Ebay but on whole most people seem to be quite genuine. I ordered and bought some fabric from an Ebayer in Canada and paid about £5. A month or so later I hadn't received it and the seller insisted that it had been sent but refunded me my money. I promised him I would pay him back if the fabric did arrive. Well, six weeks after the sale I received the fabric so I quickly emailed him and sent him the money back. We were both pleased with the transaction. Its nice to deal with someone who is honest.
From my experience it seems it is best to keep well away from the mobile phone area of Ebay. There's a lot of dodgy people buying and selling there for some reason!0
