Sorry to be so pessimistic over timings but that's what happened to me. Apart from the time I was away with work when we were due to complete, phoned and left message. They phoned me back around 3pm - couldn't complete as didn't have my dd for mortgage (I had put a tick sheet in with what I had enclosed so know they had it :mad:). Fortunately I had copies of all paperwork with me, stopped at small row of shops with a B Soc sub-branch unrelated to all parties but they took pity on me and faxed through with 15 mins to spare _pale_.

Then I got to house and their bl**dy dog was still there!!!!!!!

Well i get price work. I dont get an hourly rate at all. They just have to put that down so they can show they are paying me at least minimum wage. I get paid per m2 and whatever i put in is multiplied by the different price per m2 we have (set in stone) then they pay me my net wage. Its just the way it appears on payslip.

Well i am planning getting these contacts signed and deposit over to solicitors asap so hopefully manage that Monday, Tuesday at the latest!! Did you have to show you have deposit in place and show where the funds have come from? I just dont want anymore hold ups, applied on 1st November and were meant to complete tomorrow!! :mad:

Gf is on mortgage, down as £0 income as she went self employed earlier this year and doesnt have a years accounts....she has no break in income since leaving school at 15, yet they wouldnt take this into consideration!!!! :mad:

SO we have had to manage without it, lucky we seem to have managed just that!! We cant afford to delay again as will mean cant go through till after xmas and seller said if he loses the place he is completing next Friday then he isnt selling. He has delayed them twice already so they said no more delays or he has lost it !


So a week tomorrow....big day!!! :eek:

You will need to transfer the deposit to the solicitor but am sure he has it all in hand .

Just worrying about hold ups - been told got to show where deposit is from, show it being saved up etc etc!

Otherwise they can have the money whenever they want aslong as we get our keys next Friday!!
