I think your list should be doable, as most of them can be done in one, ie wash up wipe sides and cooker (if it's just the top!), washing does itself (I presume haha)

Unloading the dishwasher is one of those things I have to do as I'm waiting for the kettle to boil.

I can imagine all these things take 3 times as long with a kiddo though!! x

  • Morning

Well I've tried to start as I mean to go on.

I've unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, cleared one of the worktops and hoovered. Although it doesn't seem a lot, I haven't stopped for over an hour! I have no idea why things take so long!!!

I'm just about to shove some washing in, unload the dishwasher and reload. Then I really need to do the work tops and wash up. But I don't know when I'm going to get time to do those!

Been having some thoughts about how to make money, will post in a minute.

Does anyone do surveys or have any other ways to make money?
  • woo hoo, I seem to have achieved a lot. I have so far today:

unloaded and reloaded the diswasher twice
put a load of washing on, although im yet to hang it up
washed and steralised all the bottles
    cleaned the worktops
cleaned the cooker hob (this is no mean feat, we have 6 gas rings!)
    hoovered through
    washed the floor right through
    been shopping.

I feel like a superstar :) although it has taken me all morning and I've only just managed to sit down! Have had a lovely healthy lunch though, I bought loads of lovely salady stuff, as the midwife told me I needed to eat a bit better, due to eating rubbish all the time!

moneywise. I have just gone through my direct debits, and I found I was paying £6.50 for union fees but as i no longer work I don't need a union, so I cancelled it, so £6.50 up a month already :)

i've also been asked to make some cakes for my friends business, i was only meant to be doing seventy odd on one day but now shes asked me to do twice as many!!! Not quite sure how I'm going to decorate them all, but I know I'll find a way. After expenses and ingredients etc etc, I should make about £100, any more will be a bonus. But that can all go into the pot to pay off the OD. Unfortunately that was worse than I thought this morning. -£160 :( and I'm getting charged £7.60 a month in fees and interest, so that needs to go asap!!!

  • thanks scruff :) when I finally did sit down, I read a couple more pages of your diary. I love your goals, can't wait to keep reading to see what ideas I can steal :)

Just trying to find the enthusiasm to start on my assignment. It really doesn't help that I'm feeling really really sick. This pregnancy is really knocking me for six at the moment. At list the babe is in bed and asleep for now......

    How was everyone elses days?
  • ok. still haven't written anything, trying to go through the notes and read the texts, but I'm struggling, would much rather be asleep!!
  • oh dear falling behind today, really not feeling very well, being sick all night, not good, haven't got any of my assignment done and the house is a mess again.

Really hope to feel better soon.

Hope you feel better soon! Don't worry too much about the house either, although I know that is easy to say not to do. When your nausea subsides a bit you could try writing random key points to your assignment (I'm presuming it's an essay?) and then you can come back to it and fill bits in around it. I always find this easier than just facing a blank page! Also I find some days I can churn loads of info out and reports etc are super easy. Other days I could look at my computer til I'm blue, it just depends on the day.

Above all, try not to worry too much!! It'll just make you more stressed and it's a vicious cycle - these things are to be expected your body's working really hard!!
