PPC Ticketers and any BPA code of practice.

Hi. I have learnt lots since reading this forum over past two weeks.
Just a question however.
I often visit a local Aldi where Parking Eye operate. However, from this vantage point(where I park), while waiting for the wife who had gone into Aldi, I observe an employee of Nationwide Parking Enforcement Ltd stick tickets on unsuspecting car driver's vehicles whilst they park outside three small shops, monitored by this one Nationwide Parking Enforcement Ltd employee, but after parking the driver immediately go to a LoydsTSB branch which has its own parking area but of very limited space, hence why some or many park in the aforementioned parking area. But its the case that as SOON as the driver has gone into the bank the ticketer comes out from a hidden place and slaps a ticket on the screen. This event takes under 20 seconds! But surely if the Nationwide Parking Enforcement Ltd employee sees the driver park up, and he surely does, why does he not come out and forewarn the driver, even though there are notices on the walls of the shops(been there only few weeks). After all, who looks around to see sign about parking? Not everyone thats a given. But also how would the ticketer know that the driver who has gone into the bank will not come out and use one of the shops right afterwards? So, my question is, is this practice breaking any code of practice? Or should I expect no more from a private parking company such as Nationwide Parking Enforcement Ltd?

That exact point was raised in a recent court case when VCS got a hammering. The judge asked why the PPC goon just sat in his van and watched somebody walk off site, instead of warning the person. It's "mitigating your losses". Of course if they did that, there would be no income from"parking charge notices".What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Nationwide Parking Enforcement here says that certain web based forums are misleading and misinform.
They basically say that courts will side with them. How many times has then Nationwide Parking Enforcement taken any one to court and of those times won? Be nice to have some figures here to show that the above NPE web page "Ethics and the Law" is just yet another scare tactic and should be treated with the same esteeem as their tickets and letters of threats are. Worthless.Got a ticket from ParkingEye? Seek advice by clicking here: Private Parking forum on MoneySavingExpert.:j0 -
There's some figures on here for 2011 naming all PPCs court claims for that year. I don't recall seeing Nationwide on there.
They have a financial vested interest in saying that they'd win in court.

If I emailed Nationwide Parking Enforcement and asked them the actual number of persons who refused to pay their 'charges' and of those how many did NPE take to court would they reply giving factual figures or would they ignore me?Got a ticket from ParkingEye?
