Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys?

I've not had one from BAI! Been registered 6 weeks and not one in my area!

Hello everyone,
After reading this post i decided to try mystery shopping, went yesterday on my first task to a fast food restaurant but it was closed due to a problem they were trying to fix, i phoned the helpline and they asked me if i could try again the day after which i politely accepted to do. I went agaiin today and thes restaurant was still closed.

I want to know what others would have done? Did i have to let them know it was closed or can i just just report that the place was closed.

Do you get paid if the place is closed?

what does it say on the door ? does it give a timescale of when it might be re opened ?

you should get paid as it wasnt your fault it was closed !

i had a pub / restaurant one to do last wkend and it was closed for refurb ! i contacted the MS company and i didnt have to fill in the report and still am getting paid

I had one visit where the person was not there so I was asssessing, I also got paid for the job without having to write a report.

I see Retail Eyes has paid me - does anyone know when TNS does ?

well last month TNS payments went into my bank on the 25th

Do MS sites who publish jobs online (RE, GAP and TNS) get updated during the weekend? I know Gap and RE might get the occasional cancellation, but as a rule, is it worth checking their sites at the weekend? What do you guys do?

(I know the RE site is closed until tomorrow - hope there will be lots of lovely assignments in the morning! I need some - only have 2 for next week! :eek:)

i check every day sometimes twice a day :rotfl:

it only takes a moment to log on and check and my laptop is always on anyway lol

LOL, I check several times a day on weekdays, but was just wondering if there's any point doing that at the weekend. My guess is they're all off anyway so no new jobs are usually added until Monday?
