Had that assignment as my first! I too was shocked at the amount. Gorgeous locket I received for my 18th. Offered £20, was bought for over £200.
I had to imagine I was really desperate for the money. Well you'd have to be, wouldn't you.0 -

Woohoo, booked my first assignment with TNS
Well, I say 'booked', it says they're going to get back to me if I've been accepted... How do they do that? Do they email you or what?0 -
Hiya Dormouse, it is usually via email. They also offer jobs via email, if there is one you are interested in, then email back ENSURING you quote your shopper ID. I like TNS.
Just cancelled 2 MS assignments due to some training courses I cannot get out of in my office, which means I have no more mystery shops to do at the mo.

Cheers Welshy
Hope you'll be able to book some more soon - TNS seem to update their site quite often, from what I've seen today...
I've got one on Thursday, three on Friday and one on Saturday, but I want more! Also, booked myself a hair cut in another town for next week (it's a freebie from Herbal Essences, hence the travel), so now will try to find some MSs there as well, make the most of my trip

Just to clarify further - TNS always send you a confirmation email, and one with details of the assignment. But when you apply online for the work, sometimes they say they'll get back to you in a few days, and sometimes they tell you immediately that you've got the job (or that it's already gone, or that you aren't allowed to do it for some other reason).
