I think I might have taken on too many jobs this week.

You have to learn to say no!

I learned the hard way, saying yes to everyeone, especially when they begged and said they were desperate as they had nobody else, and I've ended up absolutely knackered at times fitting everything in.

Really been tested these last few weeks as the pregnancy hasn't been kind to me, and I've really had to put my foot down and say no to people.

You need to remember you're doing this job for you, and be strong when people try to persuade you to do jobs you don't want to do.

However, it's nice when the money from all the work comes in though :D
Here I go again on my own....

Gosh, I was beginning to wonder if this thread had died - no-one posted all weekend! :p

Thinks - does that mean all MS use the computer at work? :rotfl:

My computer's broken at home. Seems that Orange have very kindly upgraded us to 8 megs (without us asking) but our modem won't support it.

I did a job for RE on Saturday and it took me 4 hours to put it in cause the computer kept kicking me off line. Every time I completed a page the computer went down and I had to start again. Even pressing the save button sent it haywire! I was so stressed that hubby sent me off with a glass of wine to calm down!. Finally got it in, but missed all of Casualty!

I won't be able to accept any other jobs now until this is sorted. Spoke to Orange today and they are ordering us a new modem but its going to be about 10 days!

I can do Gap jobs and input from work, so that'll be OK for any during the day jobs I can manage to do (not many), but it means no weekend/evening work!

Also I can't download the notes from RE on my work computer, or open attachments from Grassroots, so I miss out on loads of assignments because of this.

Does anyone else have this problem, wondering if it's because work has high security on the computers?

    Nice one Orange!
  • Just wondered how long you have to be with a certain company before you can do the clown jobs,...........I can't see them yet.

You have to have been with them for 2 months, and then take the online test.

They then just appear in the clients list when your 2 months is up!

I've had the same today. I thought i must have wrote my assignments down wrong but ive just had a phone call from them and they said that they apologise for it but that if you send your receipt to shopperassignmentsuk@gapbuster.com they will pay in full without you having to input the results.....which seems highly generous......especially for GAP, but I'm not complaining!!!!!
