There were 2 local - ish to me but didn't bother taking them

In the early days I was taking pretty much any assignments in the area, but I am more selective these days :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh great, that made me feel so much better! :rotfl:

I do know what you mean though, but my diary's looking a bit empty for next month so I thought I'd give them a go. :)

I've still had no work whatsoever from Retail Maxim. :(

I rarely bother with Gap now either. It is too rural here to make it worthwhile. I told them so too on the questionnaire they sent out last week!! On the weekly newsletter thingy there is always loads of work but not worth doing without mileage.

This is the first time I've seen the travel agents jobs on Gap... I grabbed two, but am not sure how much work they're going to be. They sound like you could be in the shop for quite a while, obtaining quotes and stuff, all for a very generous Gap fee...

I don't ever even go to high street travel agents, no idea how they work LOL :rotfl:

I missed any that might have been in my area too. Wouldn't know how they would work either, can't seem to be able to afford to go on 'proper' holiday !

I haven't had any assignments for three weeks now.

I have managed to pick up a few (8 isn't such a few) but 3 of them are non-fee paying for later on in the month, but still very quiet in my neck of the woods.

This was about 2 months ago and I cannot retake the test ,the link to it has gone.

So I dont know when / if I will be able to again

I failed the test too - couldn't get all the manual to load so guessed all the answers and failed on one! Can't retake it yet either!

I've done travel agents for other companies (with a much better fee!). I would say allow at least 30 mins in store. This can easily increase if you have to wait to be seen, or if you get someone really chatty. By the time you factor in the travel time, and time spent writing up the report, it just doesn't seem worth it for the Gap fee.

I don't do the Gap mobile phone jobs for the same reason as sometimes you can be instore for ages with those.
Here I go again on my own....
