I have read some of the comments on here and have just registered with GrassRoots as they seem to have good feedback.
Which others would you recommend?
Thanks0 -

I've not heard anything from grassroots yet. Been about 2 weeks since I applied.
I got rejected from TNS because I failed their testbut I applied again.
I got accepted to Retaileyes very quickly. And have done 2 jobs aleady with 4 more lined up.0 -
I've got an assignment with Grassroots that I have to do today... bit nervous about it because it involves up to a £40. The email brief states "* The purchase value may be up to £40. You will be reimbursed for this at the time of payment." I'm just a bit nervous about that, not really had a spend of more than £3 before! I thinking that after I've made copies of the receipt etc, I could just return it??? As its an actual shop, not a restaurant or anything.~Diminutive0

This might have been asked already
but if you do an assignment, and, for example, your allowance is £15 and you get a £5 fee, obviously the £5 fee is taxable, right?
So if I spent £22 on the assignment, and had a receipt to show this, does this then mean that the £5 fee becomes expenses rather than taxable, & do you have to then declare/explain it in your tax paperwork?

The fee would not become expenses and would still be taxable, no matter how much you spend. So you would need to declare it on your paperwork.

Thanks  So even if I had spent my fee in the course of doing the assignment (petrol etc) I would have to pay tax on it?
All this kind of stuff confuses me0 -
You would still have to pay tax on it.
Mileage is a separate thing, which you can use against your tax allowance, to lower your tax, if you go over the threshold.
If you did a job that was £5 fee with no mileage, you will still need to make a note of your mileage, as you can 'claim' up to 40p per mile against your tax up to a certain amount of miles (this is reduced to a lower amount after that mileage has been reached) you don't get the actual money in your pocket, it just reduces the tax that you may have to pay if you go over your tax allowance.0 -
URGENT - HELP NEEDED
I am doing my first MS assignment tonight for TNS and i have a problem.
They didn't send me the info for the assignment by the usual email as they had a problem with their computer systems, so my regional controller sent it instead as an attachment. The problem is there is no web address to submit my results to and they want it within 24 hours of completion. Does anyone know what web address i need?0
