I've printed out all the paperwork and now I'm terrified - there's so much of it!
Does anyone have any advice on how to remember all the details required? It's not as if I can take it in with me and tick things off as we go along.
I'm sure once I get there common sense will kick in, but as this is my first I really want to get it right, so any help would be very much appreciated!
It gets easier after your first few as the same questions are often asked over and over again!
If I'm doing one where I'm worried about the amount of detail I've got to remember, first I work out what I've only got once chance to remember - eg was the member of staff wearing a name badge, what were their exact words when they approached you, what questions did they ask you, did they recommend a certain product etc. Don't worry too much about some of the more general information - eg was the branch clean, did they stock all of the leaflets - read the questions but don't try and remember them as it can be too much.
Then as soon as I'm out of sight of the branch, I go through the questionnaire and fill in everything I can. If you've missed out some of the general information you can always go back and check without drawing too much attention to yourself. Didn't notice the leaflets? Go back in and have a look. If someone asks or the same member of staff acknowledges you, you can say that you noticed they had information about credit cards and thought you'd come back and grab a leaflet before you went home.
Also, with these financial information ones - it's common for people in 'real life' to makes notes. So as long as it's something a normal person would note down in that situation - do it! Or ask them to write it down for you. You may look a bit an@l but not unusual!
Good luck - hope you enjoy MSing as much as I do!0 -

I've been MS'ing for years and I still occasionally forget to look what's on each side
Some shopping centres hand out maps with all the shops on, which can be handy to keep for reference. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Does anyone worry about the amount of lying they do when MSing?
My boyfriend's starting to see me in a whole new light since I described some the elaborate scenarios I dream up when doing assignments. But to me it's all part of the fun!0 -

Hubby said it had gone too far, when last week I went out in a very baggy jumper to hide my bump and no rings, as I was supposed to be a single young womanHere I go again on my own....0 -

I'm quite excited, never done a clothes shop before! :j
I got an offer for that one, but it didn't tell me which store location it was! I've emailed them, just waiting for a reply before I apply for it :rotfl: I've got a sandwich one for this week too
Had a brainwave and checked my junkmail - amended assignment was in there along with the same shop, different location. Both booked, woohDFW Nerd #104 I :heartpuls my Kittenand my hat :heartpuls
