Which type is it? I've not done the ones where you have to check the trailers.

I have done one where I got a fee and admission for a friend and me to a film of our choice, and we had to visit the all concession stands so we had plenty of nibbles and pop! I enjoyed that job very much.

I do these too. It's one of my favourites!

Did another 'reveal' today. The member of staff just said to me 'Well I suppose you were just doing your job!'. It was really awkward!

I notice BAI have hotel assignments on their site again

has anyone on here ever managed to get one of these assignments ?!!!!

I've done one Rachie - although I'm reticent now about giving an opinion ;)

The fee wasn't bad, but you had to be close enough to the bar to see how other people's transactions were paid for and what drinks they had (I spent a lot of time hovering trying to 'decide' if I was going to order food from the menu!) and remember details of lots of transactions - other people's, not mine. I was concentrating so hard I didn't get a chance to enjoy the drinks I had to buy!

I haven't applied again for this round but may do in the future - once the memory has faded!

  • Has anyone taken this up as a p/t job and if so how does it work for you as I would love to do something like this rather than a 9-5 job ?

Jackie a few people do this full time but with auditing and merchandising aswell :)

Ive just been offered my first Retail Maxim assignment ,by text ! which was a fab way IMO

they seemed lovely when i called up to accept :)

The only thing putting me off is that the report has to be done over the telephone ! and i know i will get tongue tied or make a mistake or something lol

are they a good company to work for ? get many assignment offers ? :)

Rachie they are a good companyto work for and the girls who take the report are lovely too. Just complete the form as you would normally and then recite this to the girl when she calls.
Assignments are offered by text normally and jobs are varied it all depends on the area you live etc. I find I get lots one month and none the next..but one to add to your list for work :T
  • I did my first one with them beofre xmas for a hair cut - was good telephone interview I was nevous for but it only took a few mins and she just runs through the questionaire.
