  • Opps......
  • What sort of mystery shopper things can you do?
  • Bargin, you need to read your way through this thread - that will answer your questions! I have bought petrol, burgers, pizzas, high class restaurant meals, pub meals, drinks, frilly undies, opened bank accounts (well, enquired about it), set up new mobile phone accounts, bought prestige cars (well, maybe not quite bought them ;)) stayed in hotels.......and had lots of lovely cups of coffee!!!! Some of these are more 'prestige' jobs where you have to have worked for them for a while........
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

and i dont know about you guys but when im in a store but not MSing and i get bad service etc i want to shout out "ooh you are so lucky im not MSing today " :o:o :rotfl: :rotfl:

everyywhere i go now,im checking for service, cleanliness ,name badges and the like :rotfl: :rotfl:
Went late night shopping tonight and received poor service in two stores. My husband told me that MSing has made me less tolerant of bad service, and I think he's right! I pick up on everything now, and the thing that makes me the most mad is staff on tills who continue chatting to a colleague and don't even acknowledge you are there. Times like that I always wish I was MSing that store!

I've done most of the things jobbingmusician has (no frilly undies jobs for me though  :rotfl:), and also you can expect to visit supermarkets, chemists, music shops and lots and lots of post offices, pounce on those people who offer you credit cards in shopping centres, buy toys, enquire about jewellery, domestic appliances, sofas, kitchens, snowboarding gear (how out of place did I look in that store! :o :rotfl:), etc etc...

No two days are the same in this job ;)
  • Frilly undies were from the halcyon days when one of the companies had a regular monthly contract with M & S, now sadly defunct :(

LOL... I have to be honest and say that last week I got horrendous service from a well known DIY store (I wasn't m'sing) and in the end I said exactly that Rachie!....It really took alot for me to blurt it out but I think anyone in the same situation would of said the same....It was one of the worst customer service I had ever received.......needless to say the manager gave me my 'rightful' refund :T
