Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys?

Don't forget when you are working out home much you are getting after tax to consider your other expenses such as printing and mileage. That can really eat into how much money you are actually earning. It's very easy to make a loss at this if you are not too careful when considering which jobs to accept - particularly low fee self-employed jobs which are exempt from minimum wage requirements.0

I saw this on Yahoo, not sure if it has been widely posted
"People hoping to make some extra money before Christmas were warned on Tuesday to watch out for a scam targeting shoppers.
The Office of Fair Trading said criminals in Canada were luring victims by offering them a job as an undercover inspector responsible for checking customer service at shops and businesses.
Victims are sent a genuine-looking cheque for 2,000 pounds to cover Top of Form
their wages and expenses.
They are told they will be paid 350 pounds for their first assignment, posing as a customer of a money transfer agency.
As part of the role, they are told to wire 1,500 pounds from their own bank account to a "fake" relative in Canada.
The fraudsters collect the money, but the original cheque is counterfeit and bounces.
"This is a nasty scam which exploits the promise of paid work to defraud victims," said the OFT's Christina Wade.
"Victims could be liable for any funds they spend while waiting for the cheque to pass through the banking system and end up losing over 1,500 pounds."0 -

I filled in the online application for NOP back in October and completed the online assessment. They said they would e-mail me with the outcome after 14-21 days - I'm still waiting. Does that mean its a no?? and i just don't get a response. Any ideas??0

Of the people on here that are willing to answer the question, how much money do you generally recieve on average through mystery shopping each month and how many hours "work" do you do?
Hi there
I've been MSing since the end of October and to date (incl last job of year tomorrow) I've just calculated I will have had £327 for meals, reimbursements etc and £320 in fees. I don't do many hours as have 2 babies and I just fit jobs in when I can, so am pleasantly surprised by this amount! Let's hope 2007 continues to be profitable!0 -

You look like you've done well too!
I can't believe how much I like MSing, especially when you can get a pile of jobs in a place you would visit anyway! Also, can't believe how many MSers there must be around us all the time!0 -
Hi, I'm earning between £10 and £30/week doing ms which is great. Obviously things quietened down now for Christmas but 5 lined up for new year. :j
I was wondering if anyone could recommend any more good companies to apply to?
I get most of my work from GRG, NOP, TNS and BAI (in that order). I have applied to Retail Maxim, ABACI and emystery shopper but no work from them yet. Would like to apply to some more before the New Year!
Also has anyone been paid by BAI yet? I just emailed them. Did work or them on 17.11.
Thanks
