Npower Price Rise

I am on the sign on line 24 for gas only and mine says 16% rise. I thought I was on a decent deal but looking into it nearly 46p a day standing charge maybe I was wrong. I have decided to pay the £20 exit fee and get out of it early. I still dont understand the £50 yearly rebate I had my electric with them for over 12 months and I never received a rebate from them.0

Im on the same tariff and called them up regarding changing tariff/supplier. Was told NO early exit fee due to the price change.0 -
I'm on SOL24 as well, and my letter turned up today.
17.1% for electricity
17.3% for gas
Just been checking the T+C's and I can't leave until 3rd Feb 2013 without paying a £40 exit fee (though the previous post is interesting - quoting that they'll waive the fee so I may give them a call)
I remember last year's rises were over 25% as I was on a previous SOL tariff (19 I think). However, using a price comparison site, switching to SOL24 worked out to be cheaper than switching to another supplier.
This time it seems to be different, as that Scottish Power fixed tariff is about 10% cheaper than nPower after 26Nov so I'll probably switch to that if I can exit early.0 -
Im on the GoSave tariff which I was told was a 'fixed' tariff and we too have been hit with double digit rises!? What a farce and time to switch. I was going to actually do it 4 weeks ago and they convinced me my deal was as good as fixed and was on a monthly rolling contract not tied in?!
