    Morning All

I have a few spends to report over the weekend:

    £67.26 Mr T
£5.10 Chippy tea after fireworks (2nd one this week:eek:)

I used a total of £68.16 in total spend vouchers, clubcard vouchers, doubled up clubcard vouchers and multi deal savings against my shopping but against the christmas gifts I bought not the food shopping (except tht multbuys) as I bought my DSD a kindle that he will love but was too expensive otherwise:)

I have spent a total of £126 this week when my budget was £88:o DH has gone on a diet so lots of extra fruit and salads bought as well as £4 on seeds and £12 on vitamins on BIGIF. I now have just over £140 to last me 2 weeks. Actually it's under £140 as I have just remembered I bought some raspberry swedish glace in the nutr1centre bit at Mr T as I have not had that flavour before:o

I start work at 11 and finish at 8 tonight so I need to get something organised for tea before I leave. Oh and I have fished out my breadmaker to have a go at making myown GF bread using the prescription mixes I get.
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75
  • Sorry I'm late but can I be put down for £240 this month please.

We are running low on nappies and wipes and I want to get some Xmas bits in to spread the cost.

No spends so far. We've all been poorly sick so not eating much. Everyone is better and back to school and work this week. Will go to morrisons tonight or tesco tomorrow for fresh stuff :)
  • I'm in Adelaide, Elsie - but I grew up in Bristol!

Very proud of myself so I'm going to ramble on. Managed to get through the day even though I ate my sandwich for breakfast (two weeks ago I wouldn't have even made the sandwich...) by raiding the cupboard at work where I've brought things in before and forgotten about them. Cup a soup and some crackers and dried apricots for lunch, probably healthier than the to-buy options anyway.

And it sounds silly, but it's the little things: I forgot to buy tissues and mayonnaise on Friday, and instead of doing a top-up shop I thought - they're not essentials anyway, it can wait until next week. No-one in the house has expired for lack of condiments yet!
MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028
    14 August 2017 - Refinanced: $220,000
    January 2019 $211,580 Current MFD 31 June 2036

Done my first shop of the month and it was £75.
I was guessing at a £400 budget as this is the first month that Husband has gone so just me & 2 boys to feed, and not sure quite yet how much I'll need to be spending.

  • Morning all!
    Hope everyone is well.
I'm going for £40 this week. Don't need too much so will be easy enough if I don't go to the shops.
    My meal plan so far
    M- out at FIL
    T- butterbean burgers (sw recipe)
    W- chicken dish
    T at MIL
F- are on a day trip to family in Portsmouth but will have something quick like jacket spud with tuna if we don't eat whilst out
    S- spag bol
S- maybe a roast dinner of some kind, see what I can get when out and about.
The only thing I don't have already in is a roasting joint or similar. Will need some milk, fruit, veg etc during the week but that's it. are getting used to slimming world too so less money on snacks and convience foods :)
Will try and read back a bit later once I've done a few jobs.

Been MIA last week as half term and night shifts. Not a great week really £5 in Lidl, approx £45 Mr M (have lost receipt and dcs put loads of costume bits in trolley). Then £32 at butcher. We were away for 3days at the end, just been to Mr M to restock, spent £53 (was £60 but had £7 worth of vouchers) .Reckon we need about a tenners worth of meat until next tueday. That leaves £30 for the last week of the month, just about doable I think. Will need to be frugal.

    Hello All,

Just a small spend today of £1.50 and I have plenty in the house still from last week's big shop to last a while. I may pop out on Friday and buy a tube of pringles for hubby for the weekend but this is all that is needed.

With this cold weather I am planning on cooking stew and dumplings for tonight's dinner, will use up yesterdays l/o veg and make bubble and squeak to go with it (never had this combination before but first time for everything!). For pudding we have bread pudding with either icecream or custard.

Hope you all have a good week.
