    Hi WD

We stopped charging our residential customers a 1.5 per cent fee for paying by credit card on 6 December 13.

    Hope this helps.

OP here, so can I now get Eon to take £100 a month from my credit card without paying more for gas and electricity than by DD?

    Morning retiredin2011

There's a monetary adjustment for customers who pay with a Monthly Direct Debit. This is paid via lower standing charges.

This adjustment isn't available, though, to customers paying by other means, including by credit card.

The actual amount you pay will depend on your usage and the tariff you're on.

    Hope this answers your question.

  • The monetary adjustment will be more than my 1% cashback I assume. :D:rotfl:

    Hi retiredin2011

The monetary adjustments for Monthly Direct Debit payments are £35 per fuel per year. As I say, these are paid via lower standing charges.

    Sorry, should've mentioned this before.

  • Since 1% of £1300 is £13, not worth it.
