Maybe, but if you've changed anything in that period then you may have been started on a new 12m tariff. VM are notorious for failing to 'remind' people of this, and then hitting them with massive ETC's.

Don't know why the call centre says they have no one there to deal with it on a Sunday..all it requires is for your telephone and broadband to be switched off. They'll leave the physical connection in place in case you want to re-subscribe in future.
I think you may have to give one month's notice, though.
  • Year gone sept upgraded to TiVo box, and multi room, but still wondering if you can just have TV package!

Yes you can, although the prices are heavily skewed in order to make single or double play less attractive than triple play.
Since the contracts are separate, you should be OK, as you've only upraded the one you want to keep anyway.
But if you drop your cable broadband, then you will need a BT-based landline installing in order to get any other ADSL broadband service. There are no alternative cable suppliers.

Indeed, so the saving will be negligible unless gonnabedebtfree2015 can live without internet and landline.
  • I have unlimited Internet on my phone and iPad linked to that, also been wanting to get rid of landline, but they kept saying would cost more per month by losing phone.
    Thanks for all our replys

No it wouldn't cost you more - if you want TV, you are charged for Virgin's phone service, whether you want/use it or not, so it is often best to keep it as it might be useful. It just wouldn't cost you any less!
  • What I meant is because we have everything, our packaged is heavily discounted, there words, so by taking just the phone off it was gonna cost more than we're paying now.........hence decided to jus have TV and use our mobiles.
