Thanks for those. I hadn't known that about giffgaff, which will be a pity, as even if they see higher wholesale costs for for few calls to these places the previous inclusion will have acted as a promotional lure for people who will have bundles they use to call plenty of other places as well

I'm a little bemused about what the position with O2 will be, as their website has been a bit ambiguous at times in the past, saying for a while that these calls were exluded when they were actually inclusive in what was described as a 3 month promotional period, but it became open-ended and carried on.

I used to be on o2, they included the IOM in my tariff. I changed to Tesco mobile (who use o2 network) and they have charged me an extortionate about to call the IOM my bundle was £30 pm, I pay an extra £15 for just a handful of calls a month to the iom. it was too late to cancel the contract before i realised (.

I've just been on the phone to EE for 10 minutes and got passed around so I gave up! I can't believe that was their sales line!
