Double glazing is likely to make the humidity worse as the moisture in the air will have no way to escape.
I'm going to spend £300 our own money on a dehumidifier as the humidity is regularly over 80%
It's so frustrating renting.
If humidity is the problem, yes a dehumidifier can help (though £300 is an expensive one), but lifestyle is more relevant. Read here.
If heating is the issue, get substitute double glazing from a DIY store for around £8.0 -

Further, if LL is as unhelpful as this one sounds they might demand you re-instate the old windows when you left (daft I know but they could..).
£300 ?? Try this one, I know they do work...

£1000+ that they wouldn't recoup. Central heating can be another £1500-£2000.But they dont seem to want to spend some cash on double glazing and central heating. If they went for double glazing they would basically being getting 2 windows (living room and bedroom) 2 doors (back and front, and the small window next to the back door. How much would that cost, any ideas?0 -
