  • Moosmummy - I got DS some Christmas ducks from ebay - they were about £2 inc postage. They came from Hong Kong - but came quickly with no problems.

    ds2 who will be just 17months at xmas has

    • handy manny set of 4 board books.
    i need to get him some cars and some paper of some sort as he loves 'drawing' and maybe some little farm animals or similar.

    Sorry - just checked my purchase history to find the seller and it looks like they have sold out. They were 99p + £1.39 postage.

    They do have them on Baker Ross if anyone was buying anything else - £2.60

    dd's aged 12 & 5 have same things in their stockings, just different brands/titles according to their age. This year they each have:
    dvd
    bathbubbles/ bathbomb
    hair bobbles
    teddy
    socks
    chocolates
    magazine
    grow your own novelty toy

    iam doing one for dh for first time this year & really struggling, so far he has:
    grow your own beer novelty toy
    novelty socks

    What's the grow your own novelty toy??

    DD (who's 3 a week before Xmas) will be having:

    Disney Princess annual
    tube of chocolate buttons
    bag of chocolate coins
    Small kalidescope (sp?)
    Frog tiddly wink game
    Glowing fairy wand
    Microwave teddy (bag inside can be warmed in the microwave)

    My ds is 8.
    He also loves Moshi monsters so a blind pack of them and cards. Spendless- Argos and the entertainer do the winter moshlings in a pack of 5 for 4.99. Im hoping they will go on offer at argos.
    I will also add
    coins,
    a soft dj quack,
    some silly toys, last year he had wind up teeth ect from crafty crocodiles. I have seen xmas themed bits.
    I got bath pens from wilkos
    Lush,
    the ducks mentioned. Thank you I may end up doing a baker ross order now as they are cheaper.
    I need a few more bulky things. I'm finding it hard for ds pressies to look a lot now as it's all so small.

    Our stockings are in their room and we let them open them and play a bit before they come own and wake us (still at silly o'clock though)

    So we try to put things in that will occupy them:
    Some Christmas colouring/pens/pencils/paint with water book
    Chocolate coins
    Nectarine
    Little two my girls have he polly pocket/sylanian families
    Girls jewelry/makeup (no use to op but may help someone)
    Little teddy
    Also last year did (from a MSE idea) a little drink/cerial bar
