I've an iPhone 3G - should I wait for a 5 or get a 4s?
As the title suggests, my work phone is to be replaced but I'm on a wait list for the iPhone 5 but could have a 4 or 4S immediately.
As I've got a rather dated 3G should I get a 4S now rather than wait weeks or even months for o2 to stump up a 5?
What do you think?
FYI - my 3G (not 3GS to be clear) works okay, so it would be purely impetuousness not waiting a reasonably short time IF the 5 is much better than a 4S.

I'd wait till i6 came out, even 5 is a poor upgrade hardware wise to whats avail out there including the i5. I was a 3GS user.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Well pay less as the specs of the i5 dont justify the cost, unless your sold on vanity lol function wise 4S more than holds it own against i5.
If you would like a bigger screen over 3GS/4/4S thats the only recommendation for i5.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

If the only difference to you is the length of the wait - go for the 5. The processor speed, but more especially the larger screen size makes reading web pages a breeze. The difference, between the 4S and 5 is also the two reasons I hilighted - so, don't waste your time with it.
Sure the 6 will be out in 2014, but on that basis, you'll be ahead of the curve - but today, not an unspecified day in the future!0
