Wizz Air cabin baggage changes

I've just had an email from WizzAir saying they're changing their cabin baggage policy. Small bags are free, bigger bags you now have to pay for.

Worst of all, it's from all flights from the 24th October, so if you've booked since the 4th then it applies to you.

There's still no weight limit though.

Overall I don't suppose it's too bad, since they're still far more generous with hold baggage than other airlines and haven't changed the weight restrictions, but the retrospective part really seems unfair.

Anyway, just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone who may be travelling with them.

If Wizz didn't inform you of the new cabin baggage charge at the time of booking and they subsequently make you pay this charge, they would be in breach of Regulation 6 of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, and you would be entitled to claim back any additional charge that you are made to pay.
