So...use the changing rooms and be seen by security staff then.
1) SportsDirect have cameras in their changing rooms
2) You want to use SportsDirect changing rooms
3) You don't want to be on camera.
These three things aren't all possible at the same time. You're not likely to change (1) if Shaun's interpretation of the law in post 4 is correct. Therefore, your choices are either not using SportsDirect changing rooms or being on camera. Simples.Competition wins: Where's Wally Goody Bag, Club badge branded football, Nivea for Men Goody Bag0 -
Why don't Sport Direct do away with changing rooms if shoplifting was such a issue.
The link said that they may be used under exceptional circumstances to me that should be mental hospitals prisons or other institutions that may need cameras for public safety.
I don't think a second rate sport shop should come under that category.I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0 -
just because they have a sign it doesnt mean there IS a camera.
They are entitled to have a camera in there as long as it is made public by displaying warning signs.
You could always shop somewhere else if you wanted to....0 -
Sports Direct are the pits. Asked to use the changing room once, they wouldn't let me take my handbag in and made me leave it behind the counter. Came out of the changing room and there were no staff on the counter at all, I just went behind it and got my bag. As could anyone else! Not impressed at all.0

Then people would complain that they can't try things on. Bear in mind they still wouldn't have a legal obligation to accept returns if someone picked the wrong size.Competition wins: Where's Wally Goody Bag, Club badge branded football, Nivea for Men Goody Bag0 -
Again... are you sure they are actually in the cubicles? It is more than likely the signs are in the cubicle to deter potential shop lifters.....0

If there were actual cameras in there then they wouldnt say they were hidden, they would want them where they could be seen as a deterrant to thieves. My money says they are bluffing.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

There wouldnt have been camera's in there! The sign did its job as it has generated a discussion, the most there would ever be is a camera in the corridor outside the rooms.0
