My mouse take, I was associating Fairy > Fairy liquid > bottles in my reply. As you say it's quite easy to put a smaller quantity in a box as they are hardly filled to the brim anyway - do they still write "contents may settle" on the packing?Yeah that's fair enough. It depends on the product. In the example in this thread I would argue they use the same packing as before and just have a small change of label with the new quantity on
There is always the "new formula" ploy where they add more water, which saves on tooling for new bottles.:)
