I'd have thought you couldn't go wrong with PJs! Thought everyone liked them! A nice set from la senza-like cosy ones. I guess it doesn depend how well you know her, is she always staying at your house etc? Otherwise scarve/gloves from accessorize/river island, pampery things from Lush,a nice perfume set-can't really go wrong with Marc Jacobs, look in The Works for nice bakery/cookbooky type extras to go with..

My boyfriend's mum has bought me pyjamas (although admittedly can't remember how long we'd been dating then!) I was really pleased with them. I'd love it if she bought me another pair as my horrible old washing machine ruined them
I think the only issue with pyjamas is you'd need to know her size, and many people like theirs to be roomy so you'd need to think about the fit too. Your son might know her size though!0 -
For my DS' GF I made her a hamper called Simples.
Various Simple products, face wipes, cleanser, toner and so on, with a cuddly meerkat in it - Simples :rotfl:0 -
Or a cake pop 'hamper' - cake pop maker (£20 in Currys/Lakeland), lolly sticks, some candy melts (used for covering) and some sprinkles/decorations?
I would die with joy if my boyfriend's mum did this for me - I'm 22 and have been with him for about 8months haha, the OP sounds just like me :P************************************

I entirely get that some family traditions include buying pyjamas.
Our family does not.
Unless it is an important part of your existing traditions & she's likely to be formally signed up to the familty, I wouldn't.
A gift card is bland, but gives her much more room to choose!0
