My daughter is of a similar age, and this year I suggested she write a wish list for Christmas.
I won’t list them all, but this may help.
    Nail Varnish
    Silver Earrings
    Leather purse (a trendy one)
    Scarf
    Fashionable leg warmers.

My daughter loves scarves, and with the huge range in the shops, I will be spoilt for choice.
When I was growing up my father would always tell me that my best friend was my pocket!
  • I'm of roughly the same age and I too love baking and I would be over the moon if someone got me Lakeland or Dunelm mill vouchers (depending where you are in the country and what's closest/easiest for delivery), even hobbycraft. Maybe a small something to go with it eg. £30 of vouchers and a set of famncy cupcake cases or icing set for roughly £10?

Would that be just his mother or anyone?

My own mum buying me jammies and having that tradition with me, fine. But not a boyfriends mum that I've only been seeing for 8 months, far too personal for me. But that's just me.

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.

If she likes baking, what about some vouchers for Lakeland? Or a cupcake making 'hamper' (without the hamper basket) - cupcake stand, piping set, some nice cake cases, sprinkles/decorations to go on the top, maybe a book for some inspiration? Or a cake pop 'hamper' - cake pop maker (£20 in Currys/Lakeland), lolly sticks, some candy melts (used for covering) and some sprinkles/decorations?
  • I'm 25 and love baking and last year my boyfriend's mum got me the Hummingbird Bakery cookbook - it's so good!

    Other ideas:
Make-up voucher - maybe Benefit or Debenhams or another dept store because then she could spent it on clothes, make-up or perfume.
    Stuff from Lush/The Body Shop
Anything from Accessorize - maybe a nice hand bag, scarf/gloves or jewellery.

Although I am quite a bit older I would LOVE if someone did this for me. Especially if they got me all the bits to make something I hadn't made before (i.e. cake pops).

It really depends on the girl. At that age I'd have loved the pyjamas but hated make up and perfume as I never wear it and it would be wasted.
I'd have appreciated the baking ideas but my daughter wouldn't be impressed at all (my son would love it though)

i got this for a friend, with some sticks £2 from ebay, and the packets of melts lakeland do i think they £2.99 each, i got strawberry, vanilla and chocolate
i got 2 cakepop stands from ebay for £6 delivered
and a cakepop book from amazon for £6 delivered

that would pretty much be your budget used up and she has a whole new baking thing to try

Would go with something baking related (the cupcake hamper idea is fab, I'm not even that much of a baker but would love something like that!). Perfume can be quite a personal thing so I wouldn't get unless you find out beforehand what she likes.

Does she have a Pandora bracelet? I am 25 and always appreciate new charms for mine :)

My partners mum gets me baking stuff for xmas, Ive had cupcake kits, and cookery/baking books and Steamer Trading vouchers before. Even a really nice set of knives!

In the past couple of years its been a lot of 'bottom drawer' stuff as well though for when we buy a place of our own next year but then we have been together 6 years, 8 months might be abit soon for that sort of thing!
