The Norfolk hamper company thread

Guys,
I have tried all night to get hold of him. I was in Yarmouth (haven't ordered a hamper) but heading home to near Norwich and i was going to personally run some out that way for them if i could get hold of them to try and save a few peoples Xmas's but to no joy.
The shop is shut up. No lights or nothing and the Van is next to the shop so i dont see how they are out delivering any either.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Surely he must have realised that he was unable to get all our hampers out on time.
Him and his team (probably just the wife) are able to pack 'X' amount of hampers in one day and they have 'X' amount of orders to fulfill. It wasn't exactly rocket science for him to work out how many orders he could pack and send in the given time.
But having said that, his math skills are obviously as bad as his grammar!!0 -

That was really very nice of you. Thanks so much for trying! :T0 -
I didn't order any of the hampers from this deal, simply because I didn't get round to it in time and I feel so desperately sorry for everyone caught up in it.
I really do hope justice is served swifly on this scumbag. When I read of him trying to keep local customers happy it smacked of the Crown Currency scam where many of us lost £000's buying currency.
What also strikes me about this debacle is, that in exactly the same way as the Crown Currency situation, Martin was perfectly happy for MSE to be used to encourage people to place orders with these companies however the minute the s**t began to hit the fan the silence from Martin and MSE was deafening.
I find it pretty shameful that nobody from MSE can post a basic acknowledgement of the situation that so many are in through no fault of their own.0 -
Misty i went further,
Io phoned Norfolk police after his radio interview where he said he was working with them and gave them my number to pass over and also called Radio norfolk. Those of you who know of me from the Private Parking boards may be shocked!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. To be fair i would be !!!!ed off if it happened to me but some of the things people have threatened to do are unfair to him.
He started a business and it went better than planned and he could not cope. I know it has messed peoples Xmases up (im not sure how many) and that should not be allowed to happen but for people to make personal threats to his safety is silly.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
