The only way I got a code was to join the hamper club - paid £10 and then saved 20% but I don't think they're open today to email you the code. Maybe you could join the hamper club stating that you want the deal and then they may let you buy it tomorrow as they were super helpful on the phone.
My only worry is that they will go under as I really can't see how they are making money on this!0 -
What happens if they go under? Do we lose our money? X0

I thought about this too.
Each hamper works out at about £4.25. Let's say they get a cheap courier deal @ £2 per hamper due to being a small business. That leaves £2.25 to make the hamper. Surely the cost of the hamper itself is £2.25?? Which means they are making a loss on the contents of the hampers. Does that sound right to anyone else?
If so, we could be in trouble in a few months time.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

I think I am going to leave this one. It sounds a bit too risky and I can't afford to lose £115.00 xxx0

That's my thinking! I also thought that as I have used my credit card to buy then I would be covered, but as PayPal was used then think that they are liable and there's a time limit to claiming back from them. Slightly concerned but figure that probably other people and maybe companies use them at normal prices so they would make profit on them. I suppose time will tell!0 -
They've been selling hampers for 7 years, and have just recently opened a new store... Plus they were at the Ideal Homes Show this month. Makes me think they're getting bigger, and these deals are about building a good public profile and a loyal customer base. I doubt they would have extended the offer for another day if they didn't think they could cope with the cost or demand - they're long term business holders, I'm sure they will have done their calculations and are happy with their projections.0

Thank you so much for posting this, it's reassuring. I want them to do well as they were so nice, helpful and friendly on the phone! Makes a change to find a company that has such good customer service.0

It does seem to be "too good to be true"0
